The show starts, but there is one problem. The band hasn't turned up. And our compere for the evening, Nick, is quickly becoming a loose cannon.
The singer, Everal, wants to impress one of the great agents to the singing stars, Mr Tony Currer, who is in the audience with a view to signing him up. Only without his band he is in big trouble.
Why hasn't the band turned up? Is it Nick's plan to get to Everal or could Alison be behind it?
Alison, the exotic dancer hates her job. She secretly imagines the men who watch her choking on their own sexual organs.
Dark and Dirty interact with the audience in a truly theatrical way, using a masked chorus to communicate the inner demons of the characters on stage. What emerges is a non-linear fractured narrative, combining singing, dance, comedy and mask work, which enhances the performance and creates an intense and truly theatrical experience.
